Technical Information All FootFix Insole models, are designed with a heel and arch support system and a heel cushion. * The deep and specifically shaped heel cup functions to help support and stabilize the heel and ankles in a neutral and balanced alignment. With the rear foot stabilized the mid-foot and fore-foot are allowed natural freedom to articulate so that the plantar fascia tendons, fleshy tissue, metatarsal bones and joints may adapt and roll naturally to a horizontal surface. There is no discomfort or interference, which is common with many other non- prescription insoles being sold. All FootFix models are up to 40% less weight than Spenco and most other competing brands and are made with a combination of rugged and long lasting polyethylene and EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) materials. The dynamic functions of the underneath curved cavities adapts and works comfortably for the largest variety of feet shapes and volumes.
